| Notes: This comic book price guide was put out by G.B. Love and James Van Hise of RBCC fame in 1974. Full title: "The S.F.C.A. Price Guide for Comic Book Collectors." Then as it is today, the Overstreet Price Guide was the standard for comic book price guides--it was the only one used. Designed to compete with Overstreet, this version had close to 300 pages, with checklists of Frank Frazetta, Wally Wood, Basil Wolverton, and Al Williamson. However, because they listed many items ver batim (including errors and mistakes) directly from Overstreet's guide, an injunction was brought against the publication by the courts. They ruled in Overstreet's favor AND ALL COPIES ready to be sold, were ordered destroyed.
