Genre (zhahn-ruh) noun; a category or genus in a work of art, such as Western, Science Fiction, Horror, ect. Shift (shĭft) verb; to change from one type to another. GENRE SHIFT is an experiment in which a single story line, using the same characters throughout, morphs from a specific type of story into another, practically seamlessly. Beginning in WWII as a war comic, it changes in a few pages into a romance comic, then into a crime story and finally a horror tale.
